We are saddened to read of your mother’s passing. I have very fond memories of Barbie way back to early grade school. We went all through to high school graduation together, sharing many happy moments. She will be greatly missed.

Barbara was our cousin, but we did not keep in contact much. We did come to Stephanie’s wedding. Are we invited to the funeral? I would like to be there.

Kirstin and Stephanie we only met once or twice. My name is Ric Hathway my mom was at the lakeside service. I knew your mother when I was growing up, my mom said your mom even babysat me once or twice. I have nothing but nice memories of her, she always was kind to my sisters and myself.

Picnic point has always been a favorite of mine both for a walk and for fishing off of it. When I fish there in the future, i will think about your mom.

I wish you and your families peace and healing.

Kristin and Stephanie…so saddened by the death of your mom. She and I grew up together, we spent a great deal of time at each other’s houses making our parents crazy! Attending Phantom Lake Camp summers, Job’s Daughters, Roosevelt School to UW-Madison and Elizabeth Waters Hall – we lost contact later. Barb had a great sense of humor and we laughed and giggled all the time! The friends we hung out with were all singers of sorts and she loved singing, in her high soprano, “Ash Grove”, “Tell Me Why”, and “Gonna Get Along Without You Now” (Everley Bros.) Tender mercies to you during this painful time and all God’s blessings…..

My condolences for your loss. I am one of Barbara’s cousins and have fond memories of her and her family. We visited Wisconsin often as I was growing up in Illinois.

I remember Barb as a pretty, smart and quiet girl. Athough I never saw her again after leaving high school, I never forgot her. I’m sure sh will be missed by family and friends.
